In the past 24 hours, 317 new dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals across Bangladesh, with no reported fatalities. The highest number of cases was recorded in the Barishal division, particularly in Barguna, which saw 102 new cases in a single day — the highest daily count this year. So far in 2025, a total of 12,271 people have contracted dengue, and 45 people have died from the disease. Compared to 2023 and 2024, both infection and death rates have declined this year.
