An HSC examinee named Prantik Goswami Rangan, aged 17, died in a motorcycle accident in Gangachara upazila of Rangpur on Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 8 a.m. at Shahpara Mor area on the Paglapir road when the motorcycle he was riding lost control and hit a roadside tree. Prantik was the only son of Pradip Chandra Goswami from Ramanagarpra village and a student of Dhantala Reaz Uddin School and College.

According to local residents and family sources, he was heading to Paglapir market for personal work when the accident took place. The Officer-in-Charge of Gangachara Model Police Station, Abdus Sabur, confirmed the incident and said that an unnatural death case has been filed in connection with the accident.

Police have initiated standard legal procedures following the filing of the case, and no further details were provided in the report.
