Jamaat-e-Islami–nominated candidate Md. Ruhul Amin has won the Chuadanga-2 parliamentary seat by a large margin, according to unofficial results announced on Thursday, February 12, 2026. The constituency had 174 polling centers and one postal center, totaling 175. Ruhul Amin secured 210,111 votes, including 2,589 postal ballots, while his nearest rival, the candidate with the paddy sheaf symbol, received 163,299 votes, including 1,165 postal ballots.

The results show Ruhul Amin leading by 46,812 votes. He maintained an advantage from the beginning across multiple centers, and his lead widened further after the inclusion of postal votes. Following the announcement, supporters were seen celebrating the victory in different areas.

Election officials stated that the result will be finalized after the publication of the official gazette. The announcement marks a significant win for the Jamaat candidate in the Chuadanga-2 constituency.
