Rafe Salman Rifat, a leader of ‘Up Bangladesh,’ announced the launch of a political platform named ‘July Unity’ to demand the banning of the Awami League. The coalition will be formally introduced at 5 PM Tuesday in front of Madhu’s Canteen. The platform seeks justice for the July massacre, a complete list of the dead and injured, compensation, and rehabilitation. Several social and political groups including Inquilab Manch, July Revolutionary Alliance, and Private University Student Alliance of Bangladesh have endorsed the initiative via social media.
