The Election Commission (EC) of Bangladesh continued its series of dialogues with political parties ahead of the upcoming national parliamentary elections. On Sunday, November 16, the EC met with six parties in the morning session, including Gano Forum, Gano Front, Islami Front Bangladesh, Islami Oikya Jote, Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP), and Bangladesh National Party. In the afternoon, another six parties participated, such as Bangladesh Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JASAD), Bangladesh National Awami Party (NAP), Trinamool BNP, Krishak Sramik Janata League, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish, and Islami Andolan Bangladesh. On Monday, the EC is scheduled to hold further discussions with twelve more parties in two sessions, including Bangladesh Labour Party, Bikalpadhara Bangladesh, Bangladesh Kalyan Party, Bangladesh Muslim League, Jamaat-e-Islami, and Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party). The dialogues aim to gather opinions and build consensus on election-related issues.
