Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has launched a special month-long cleanliness and mosquito eradication campaign in July to mark the historic student uprising. The drive began on July 12 in Region-5, with over 600 workers and local residents participating. Drains and footpaths were cleaned, mosquito repellents were sprayed, and an awareness rally was held. Officials emphasized joint community efforts to fight dengue and waterlogging during the monsoon. Positive results from previous drives were also highlighted as part of the ongoing initiative.
