A special documentary screening and discussion event was held at Bishwo Shahitto Kendro auditorium on Saturday, commemorating the 49th anniversary of the historic Farakka Long March led by Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani. Poet and political thinker Farhad Mazhar attended as the chief guest. Speakers emphasized the contemporary relevance of Bhashani’s philosophy on environmental protection and discussed the significance of the Farakka Long March in shaping Bangladesh’s future.
