BNP-nominated candidate Hummam Quader Chowdhury has been unofficially declared the winner of the Chattogram-7 parliamentary seat. The unofficial results were announced on Thursday, February 12, 2026. According to the results, Chowdhury, who contested under the 'paddy sheaf' symbol, secured 101,367 votes, while his nearest rival, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate ATM Rezaul Karim, received 38,665 votes.

Election sources reported that the total number of registered voters in the Chattogram-7 constituency was 319,008. Among them, 167,531 were male voters, 151,476 were female voters, and there was one voter of the third gender.

The result reflects a decisive victory for the BNP candidate, marking a significant outcome in the constituency’s electoral landscape.
