BNP Chairperson's adviser Zainul Abdin Farroque has said that groups who once supported the Awami League—such as Jamaat-e-Islami, Jatiya Party, and even the military—eventually faced persecution. Speaking at a public gathering, he alleged that conspiracies are now being orchestrated to disrupt the upcoming elections through politically motivated killings. Farroque asserted that BNP is committed to peaceful elections and public welfare and dismissed the renewed allegations against Tarique Rahman as part of an ongoing conspiracy.
