Local Government Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan confirmed that the Eid-ul-Azha waste removal drive was successfully completed in all 12 city corporations of Bangladesh. In a Facebook post, he praised the efforts of 35,272 sanitation workers who worked tirelessly during the festival to keep the cities clean. He expressed gratitude for their sacrifice and commitment. The formal inauguration of the clean-up program was held at Dhaka North City Corporation. Authorities aimed to clear waste within the scheduled time on Eid day itself.
