The Bangladesh women's football team has set up a training camp in Thailand ahead of the upcoming SAFF Championship. Bangladesh Football Federation president Tabith Awal visited the camp to encourage the players and wished them success. He also toured the Alpine Sports Training Camp in the morning, where the team is currently practicing, and held a meeting with Adi Sak Suntaros, managing director of Alpine Sports Group.

Bangladesh will play another preparatory match tomorrow against Bangkok Women’s FC, a Tier-1 club in the Bangkok Women’s League. The team previously won their first warm-up match 2–0 against a Thai club. After completing the two-week training camp, the squad will fly to Goa, India, on May 21 to participate in the SAFF Championship starting May 25.

Bangladesh has been placed in a group with hosts India and the Maldives. They will face the Maldives on May 28 and India on May 31, with the final scheduled for June 6. As the reigning champions, Bangladesh aims to secure their third consecutive SAFF title.
