Parveen, the mother of July Revolution martyr Mehedi Hasan, issued a fiery statement, questioning why no one has taken action against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. "Is there no government, no BNP-Jamaat, no people to bring her back for trial?" she asked. She accused Hasina of colluding with Indian PM Narendra Modi and vowed that, if necessary, martyr families would personally bring her back from Delhi to face justice. The National Revolutionary Council announced a mass movement demanding the abolition of fascism and the formation of a new constitution.
