BNP candidate Afroza Khanam Rita has been unofficially declared the winner in the Manikganj-3 constituency during Bangladesh’s 13th National Parliamentary Election. Based on results from all 151 polling centers, she received a total of 166,175 votes under the paddy sheaf symbol. Her closest rival, Mufti Muhammad Saeed Noor of the Khelafat Majlish (Jamaat alliance), secured 62,916 votes. The information was reported around midnight on Thursday, February 12, citing results from various centers and BNP sources.

Afroza Khanam Rita is the eldest daughter of former minister Harunar Rashid Khan Munno and entered politics under his guidance. She has been actively involved in BNP politics since 2001, working to strengthen the party through close engagement with local leaders and citizens. During the Awami League government, she was active in political movements alongside party members. She currently serves as the convener of the district BNP and an adviser to the BNP chairperson.

The election result remains unofficial until it is formally confirmed by the Election Commission.
