Gas Deal Between Egypt and Israel Amid Gaza War

Amid the ongoing war in Gaza, Egypt has signed the largest natural gas export agreement in its history with Israel. The deal, worth $35 billion, was signed between the two countries on Thursday. Under the agreement, a total of 130 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas will be supplied to Egypt, either until the year 2040 or until the agreed volume is fulfilled.
