Trump Administration’s Attempt to Destroy Irrefutable Evidence of Human-Caused Climate Change
The U.S. President Donald Trump administration has planned to shut down a research laboratory located at the summit of Mauna Loa mountain in Hawaii, which has been collecting the most reliable evidence of human-caused climate change since the 1950s. The Mauna Loa Atmospheric Baseline Observatory is a site where atmospheric carbon dioxide has been continuously measured for decades. This gas, along with other greenhouse gases, is responsible for global warming, rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and disruption of food systems, according to CNN.
