A soldier from Israel’s occupying forces has been killed and three others seriously injured in an attack by Palestinian resistance fighters in northern Gaza. The deceased, Sergeant Yaniv Mikhalovich, served as a tank crew member in the 7th Armored Brigade. The same assault also wounded his tank commander and another soldier. In a separate incident, a commando from the Egoz Unit sustained critical injuries. The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the casualties, stating the injured were transported to hospital and their families notified. Analysts describe the incidents as a significant blow to Israeli military operations in the besieged territory.
