Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Israel had secured a “historic victory” following the ceasefire, eliminating two existential threats: the potential destruction from nuclear weapons and the threat posed by Iran’s stockpile of 20,000 ballistic missiles. “Had we not acted, Israel's destruction would have been imminent,” he claimed. He thanked the U.S. military for a joint operation that, according to him, destroyed Iran’s underground uranium enrichment facility in Fordow. “We have dismantled Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Any future attempts will be met with the same resolve,” Netanyahu warned.
