The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) is maintaining the highest level of vigilance to stop the smuggling of pushin and Qurbani animal skins across the border into India. Lieutenant Colonel Hasibul Haque, Rajshahi BGB sector commander, stated that increased patrols and intelligence efforts are in place, working closely with local communities. The BGB has protested smuggling incidents through formal meetings with Indian forces and remains committed to ensuring farmers are protected and public safety is maintained during Eid.
