Israeli attacks on Gaza have claimed the lives of at least 70 more Palestinians in the last 24 hours, with over 200 others injured, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. Among the dead were several civilians seeking food aid. The United Nations has warned that Gaza is on the brink of famine. Gaza’s Government Information Office revealed that at least 20 people were killed while attempting to collect aid, including a 12-year-old child. Palestinians and local officials have described distribution centers as “human slaughterhouses,” noting that over 150 people have been killed and around 1,500 injured since the relief operations by the organization GHF began on May 27.
