Politics Heats Up in Turkey Over Former Presidential Candidate İnce

Former presidential candidate and ex-parliamentarian Muharrem İnce has once again become a focal point in Turkish politics. The main opposition party, the Republican People’s Party (CHP), is making efforts to bring him back into the fold. On Wednesday, CHP leader Özgür Özel visited the headquarters of the Homeland Party (MP) in Ankara, where he directly invited İnce to "come back home." İnce responded that he would discuss the proposal with his party’s executive board before making a decision.
