International Mother Language Day Celebrated in Malaysia with Artists from 13 Countries

International Mother Language Day was celebrated in Malaysia with due dignity and enthusiasm through various day-long events. On Friday, the Bangladesh High Commission in Kuala Lumpur organized discussions, a documentary screening, and a cultural program at the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall. The event marked the 25th anniversary of UNESCO’s recognition of Bangladesh’s Shaheed Dibosh as International Mother Language Day. Artists from 13 countries, including Bangladesh, participated in the cultural performances.
