Unprecedented Show of Solidarity for Yunus at Altab Ali Park

An extraordinary gathering took place at Altab Ali Park in East London on Tuesday afternoon (local time) to welcome Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus. People from all walks of life, regardless of political affiliation, flocked to the park, turning the event into a festive celebration. While political rallies are common at this venue, such a diverse and spontaneous turnout was rare. The only comparable scene was on August 5, when people gathered independently to celebrate after Prime Minister Hasina fled the country. This time, the crowd gathered to welcome the newly formed government leader following the August 5 mass uprising.
