Rain Brings Relief but Causes Suffering for Dhaka Residents

Light to moderate rainfall began in Dhaka from Tuesday (July 8) morning, bringing some relief from the heat but also causing significant hardship for city dwellers. Busy streets across the capital are now filled with umbrellas and raincoats. While the continuous rain has ended the recent heatwave, it has also doubled the suffering for pedestrians trying to navigate the city.
