Analysts say Trump’s approach has weakened alliances and eroded trust, particularly after his trade tariffs, pressure on Denmark over Greenland, and reduced military aid to Ukraine. The Pentagon has even hinted at punitive measures against NATO members that failed to support the Iran campaign.
