At a special event titled “July Reawakening” to mark the anniversary of the 2024 people’s uprising, Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus publicly read the much-anticipated “July Declaration.” The program began with the national anthem, after which Dr. Yunus delivered the declaration, which is regarded as a formal document emerging from the historic uprising. Political groups have reportedly reached consensus on giving this declaration official constitutional recognition.
