A tragic accident in Chandpur’s Hajiganj claimed the life of construction worker Md. Shahjalal Mona (23) after he fell from the sixth floor of an under-construction building on Sunday afternoon. Witnesses said he was removing bamboo scaffolding when he lost his balance and fell. He was rushed to Comilla Medical College Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. His wife confirmed the incident was an accident and has not filed any complaints.
