A court has imposed a travel ban on Mihir Kanti Majumder, Chairman of the Udvash Board of Directors, along with nine others. Their National Identity Cards (NIDs) have also been suspended following a petition by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). According to reports, the accused individuals illegally transferred BDT 89.78 million from the microcredit fund to an unauthorized Goldbricks project, violating the Microcredit Regulatory Authority Act. Additionally, BDT 44.8 million was diverted to the A&P Battery Project.
