Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus offered the Eid-ul-Fitr prayer at the National Eidgah ground on Monday at 8:30 AM. The congregation was attended by Supreme Court justices, members of the Advisory Council, politicians, and people from various walks of life. Worshippers began arriving at the Eidgah, located adjacent to the High Court, two hours before the prayer, under tight security arrangements by law enforcement agencies. The prayer was led by Mufti Mohammad Abdul Malek, the Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, while Muhammad Habibur Rahman, the mosque’s muezzin, served as the Qur'an reciter.
