At a Dhaka event, Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus praised the bravery of Bangladeshi Scouts who died during the July Revolution, calling their sacrifice unprecedented in global Scouting history. Speaking at the Bangladesh Scouts Cub Carnival, he recalled his own Scouting journey and emphasized the value of global exposure for youth. He encouraged Scouts to help others as they move forward in life. Gallantry Awards were given to families of eight martyred Scouts, and Shapla Cub Awards were presented to competition winners.

No Parallel in the World to Scouts' Sacrifice in July Revolution: Chief Advisor

Highlighting the pride and honor in the participation of Bangladeshi Scout members in the July Revolution, the Chief Advisor of the interim government, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, said that their sacrifice is not only a matter of pride for Bangladesh but also for Scouts worldwide. "The Scout members sacrificed their lives for the country and its people. It was a sacrifice to build a new Bangladesh. There is no such precedent in the history of world Scouting,” he stated.
