Speaking at Peking University in China, he emphasized that eradicating poverty is the primary goal of the new Bangladesh administration. He acknowledged numerous challenges ahead but stressed that overcoming them requires the collective participation of all citizens. "Many young people in my country are fighting against an economic system designed to suppress them. That is the root cause of our problems," Yunus stated.
