After two decades of delays, the 20-bed Aliarhat Hospital in Shibganj Upazila, Bogura, is finally set to open. The hospital, constructed in 2005 at a cost of 43.2 million taka, was inspected by the Health Secretary Saidur Rahman, who assured proper healthcare services upon opening. Locals, including former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia’s assignment officer, expressed hope and happiness after years of petitions and protests demanding the hospital’s operation.
After 20 years of construction, the 20-bed Aliarhat Hospital in Shibganj Upazila, Bogura, is set to be inaugurated. Saidur Rahman, Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, visited the hospital for inspection ahead of its opening.
