Cyclone ‘Shakti’ forms in the Bay of Bengal, likely to hit these areas

The low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal has intensified into a deep depression and further developed into Cyclone Shakti. Although the system is still far from Bangladesh, its effects have already begun to be felt in different regions of the country. Strong winds with rain are lashing the southern part of Bangladesh.
