Political analyst and advisor Asif Nazrul has apologized to doctors after his recent remarks were widely reported in a way that suggested blanket criticism of the medical profession. In a Facebook statement, Nazrul clarified: “I had first shared positive experiences as a patient, then mentioned complaints from others. I specifically said that these criticisms do not apply to all doctors. Many serve with dedication, but some are indeed accused of malpractice.” He expressed regret that newspapers published partial statements, creating the impression that his comments were directed at all doctors. “I sincerely apologize to the countless doctors who serve patients with sacrifice, honesty, and skill,” he wrote, while urging authorities to investigate cases where allegations are valid.
