In just one month, the announcement of a political party will be made during a nationwide long march by students.

A new political party, led by the students who spearheaded the July movement, is set to emerge, with the platform of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the National Citizens Committee. The official announcement of the party is expected to come in the first half of February. The long march will begin from the house of the first martyr, Abu Sayed, of the July movement and will continue until the house of martyr Wasim in Chittagong, where the announcement of the party will take place. These decisions were made at a recent meeting held at the National Citizens Committee’s central office in Banglamotor. The meeting focused on the overall activities of the party formation, committee creation at the district and upazila levels, and the political situation of the country.
