Country Faces Two Conditions Over 35% Tariff Issue

On the first day of a series of talks with the United States Trade Representative (USTR) regarding the additional 35% tariff issue, the U.S. has presented two conditions to Bangladesh. The first condition is that Bangladesh must invest in the U.S. manufacturing sector, including ready-made garments. The second is ensuring labor rights in Bangladesh. Apart from these, the two countries agreed on most other discussion points.
