
Attack on Police Station in Uttara to Free Three Students
Tension erupted in the capital’s Uttara after three students were detained by the police. On Tuesday (February 4) afternoon, police arrested three students—Akash, Robin, and Bappi—from a meeting organized by anti-discrimination student activists on Gausul Azam Avenue in Uttara’s Sector 13. Following the arrests, students initially surrounded the Uttara East Police Station. Later, around 7 PM, they attacked the Uttara West Police Station and clashed with the police. During the attack, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Mahadev was assaulted.
