Actress Nusrat Faria has been detained at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport while attempting to travel to Thailand. She is named in a case related to an attempted murder during a recent public uprising. The case accuses her of funding the ruling Awami League while opposing the movement. The arrest was carried out by immigration police in connection with a case filed at Vatara Police Station.
