Titumir students’ blockade disrupts train schedule, passengers facing difficulties
Due to the blockade of the railway track by students of the government Titumir College in support of their university demands, train services between Dhaka and other parts of the country have been halted. Mohammad Anwar Hossain, the station master at Dhaka Railway Station, reported that train operations were stopped from 3:40 PM on Monday. At 5:30 PM, he told Amar Desh that the Dhaka-Tongi-Dhaka section of trains is currently not running. Train services will resume once the protesters clear the railway track.
