One person was killed, and five others, including women, were injured in a violent attack in Kendua, Netrakona, following a protest against eve-teasing. The deceased has been identified as Anisur Rahman (43), son of Chan Mia Fakir. Witnesses reported that some female family members of Saidul Islam were standing outside their home when a group of local youths, including Amin (24), son of Sadek Mia, and Sajib (30), son of Bacchu Mia, passed by making obscene remarks and singing lewd songs. When the family members protested, the youths launched a brutal attack, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries.
