A young man named Alid was killed, and four others were injured in a fight over fireworks in Jessore on Monday night. The altercation started when a group of youths were lighting fireworks near Birampur Bridge, and another group confronted them, claiming the fireworks had hit them. The fight escalated into violence, leading to stabbings. Alid succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical treatment.
