Purbachal-Jhilmil-Uttara Housing Projects: RAJUK has not cancelled plots allotted under “special consideration” to controversial individuals

After the fall of the Awami League government, names and identities of those who helped uphold the authoritarian rule of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina began to surface. Alongside party leaders and activists, the list includes influential bureaucrats, administrative officials, academics, cultural figures, and some media professionals—individuals who played direct or indirect roles in serving the interests of those in power. In return for their loyalty, many received plots or flats under various housing projects of the Capital Development Authority (RAJUK) and the National Housing Authority.
