Biman Bangladesh Airlines has transferred and appointed five pilots to several operational and training positions, according to separate office orders issued by its Administration and Human Resources Directorate. The orders, issued on August 19, direct the officials concerned to take the necessary steps to assume duties at their new workplaces and state that the changes take effect immediately.
Line pilot Mohammad Abdur Rahman Ahmed has been appointed deputy chief of training. Deputy chief of training Saleq Aladin has been moved to deputy chief of technical, while deputy chief of technical Anita Rahman has been assigned as a line pilot.
In a separate order, chief of technical operations Tanvir Khurshid has been transferred to a line pilot role. Line pilot Golam Kaysar Rashedin has been appointed chief of technical operations. Biman’s directors, general managers, chiefs, chief engineers and relevant departments have been notified of the transfers and appointments.
