Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has reaffirmed that the state must treat all religions equally, without discrimination. Speaking during his visit to Dhakeshwari Temple, he said:
"We want to build a state that the world will look to as an example. If we remain divided, we will fail as a nation. Our goal is a new Bangladesh where all citizens enjoy equal rights."
Yunus emphasized that religious festivals should be celebrated freely, not under the shadow of heavy security. "We want a country where people practice their faith openly and joyfully, without fear or bias," he added.
