
Handicrafts Made from Jute, Hogla Leaves and Water Hyacinth Now Exported to Europe
Using natural materials such as jute, hogla leaves, water hyacinth, and straw, Sabekunnahar Mitu, a female entrepreneur from Byasdi village in Madhukhali upazila of Faridpur, is producing eco-friendly handicrafts and daily-use items. These products, manufactured at her company “LAM Creations,” are now being exported to various European countries. Recently, she was honored with a Women Entrepreneur Award by Bangladesh Bank.
