Great Ekushey February Today

This Friday marks Shaheed Day and International Mother Language Day, the first after the recent mass uprising. As the Language Movement reaches its 73rd year, the day is being observed under the theme “Make Language Count for Sustainable Development.” The nation will honor the supreme sacrifice of the language martyrs who fought to uphold the dignity of Bengali.
