Agreement Between BCS and BTA: Basic Salaries of Tea Industry Workers to Increase by 5%

An agreement has been reached between the Bangladesh Tea Board (BCS), the Bangladesh Tea Association (BTA), and the Collective Bargaining Agent of tea industry workers, the Bangladesh Tea Estate Staff Association. According to this agreement on salary and other benefits, the basic salary will increase by 5% from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2025. Other financial benefits will also be increased accordingly.
