Gaza's health ministry reports that 138 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes within the last 24 hours, while an additional five died due to hunger and malnutrition. Since the conflict reignited in October 2023, total deaths have reached 61,158, including 193 starvation-related fatalities. In the past day alone, 87 civilians were killed while trying to collect humanitarian aid, with 570 more injured. Since May 27, 1,655 people have been killed and 11,800 injured while seeking aid. Gaza’s media office states that only 843 aid trucks were allowed into the region since July 27—far short of the 6,000 trucks needed over 10 days to meet residents' basic needs.
