The Ministry of Home Affairs has formed an 11-member task force to address the issue of foreign nationals residing illegally in Bangladesh. The Additional Secretary (Security & Immigration) will lead the task force, with representatives from key government and security agencies. The initiative aims to streamline efforts to manage and regulate undocumented foreigners.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has formed an 11-member task force to determine the course of action regarding foreign nationals residing illegally in Bangladesh.

On Monday, the task force was established through a notification signed by Md. Kamruzzaman, Deputy Secretary of the Expatriate-2 Branch of the Security Services Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Additional Secretary (Security & Immigration) of the Security Services Division has been appointed as the convener of the task force, while the Joint Secretary of the Expatriate-2 Subdivision will serve as the member-secretary.
