The government has extended the executive powers of Dr. Sheikh Moinuddin—Special Assistant at the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges—to include the Ministry of Railways. Moinuddin, who holds the rank of State Minister, will now oversee executive functions in two critical infrastructure ministries, ensuring continuity with previous appointments and support for the Railways Ministry's advisory efforts.
