Rejection of Claim of 23 Deaths in Communal Violence
The Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council has alleged that 23 people have been killed in communal violence in the country over the past four and a half months following the popular uprising. However, the interim government has rejected these allegations. On Monday, quoting the Police Headquarters, the press wing of the Chief Adviser said that the police have been informed about the primary cause of 22 out of the 23 incidents and appropriate legal actions have been taken.
